Many of the most popular floor plans for condos these days are actually 2 stories. Typically on the first floor, you will have a small entry way that leads either right by the kitchen or directly into the front living area. Once you are past the kitchen you will have a living room where most of the socializing or movie watching or main living area will take place. Of course, there will be a bathroom on the first floor, and often one bedroom as well.
On the second floor, you will typically find one to 2 bedrooms (or an office space). This is a typical split floor plan for a condominium.
Of course, there are also condo floor plans that are made for one story as well.
